Folkestone is one of my favourite places to shoot. Every time I go, whether high tide or low, I always find a composition I’ve not shot before. On this occasion, I had been wanting to get a shot across to the lighthouse for some time, but never quite had the conditions for it. Fortunately on this morning the light hit just right, catching the side of the harbour wall and throwing some gentle side light onto the lighthouse. Sometimes it’s worth getting your feet wet…
