It’s not always about sunrise and sunset, sometimes you can get good shots at other times in the day too. This shot of Margate is one of my all-time favourites, reflecting the old and the new about this classic seaside destination. The boat just happened to be in the perfect place, with the Turner and the tourist information office in the background. For me this shot is recognisibly Margate, without being too obviously Margate.
